How to tell if jewelry is really tarnish-free
If you’ve ever had a favourite necklace fade to a dull grey after a few weeks, you already know the heartbreak of low-quality jewelry. The good news: lasting shine is mostly about the material underneath.
Look for stainless steel
Stainless steel (the surgical-grade kind) doesn’t rust or tarnish, even with daily wear, sweat, and water. It’s also gentle on sensitive skin — no green marks, no irritation.
Ask about the coating
Gold-toned pieces should be PVD-coated, a process that bonds the colour to the steel so it holds far longer than ordinary plating. Every House of Radhe piece is made this way.
A simple test: real tarnish-free jewelry can go in the shower and come out exactly the same. Ours can — that’s the whole point.
